Mark Burnett And History Channel’s ‘The Bible’ Cast Celebrate “The Bible Experience” Gala In New YorkPosted: March 22, 2013
On the heels of very high ratings for the History Channel, The Bible series’ executive producers, Mark Burnett and Roma Downey, celebrated the opening of “The Bible Experience” in New York on Tuesday, March 19. For a short period only, the gallery featuring biblical artifacts will be open for viewing. The pieces are so rare, that they’ve actually only been shown at the Vatican and in South Carolina so far.
Joined by celebrity friends and Diogo Morgado, who plays Jesus Christ in the miniseries, onlookers got the chance to take a look around the gala, and stopped for pictures on the red carpet.
Other guests included Montel Williams, Carson Kressley, Olympic gold medalist Gaby Douglas, Ariana Huffington, actress Kristin Chenoweth, and Suze Orman.
“The Bible Experience” is located at 450 West 14th Street between Washington and 10th Avenue. Admission is free and will be open until March 27. Fans of the Bible series can also get their hands on the miniseries when it becomes available on Blu-ray, DVD and DHD on April 2nd.
