Joy Behar keeps busy with her morning talk show The View, but the comedian and television personality is now on her way to hosting a brand new show on Current TV. Behar revealed to media outlets during a press conference Tuesday that she chose the network because it’s a platform where she can talk about anything, including politics. Sure enough, she also revealed dead or alive, who she’d love to interview and why the phenomenon ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ did nothing for her.

“I thought it was kind of a boring book to tell you the truth,” she admitted. “No, because I knew I couldn’t get through it because it was too boring,” she added when asked if it helped her relationship with husband Steve Janowitz. “After the first 40 shades it starts to get tedious.”

Well, perhaps the book did nothing for her, but she is focused on what she’ll bring to the table for viewers in her latest gig. Her first guest will be Al Gore, but she’s also thought about people she would have loved to interview, dead or alive. Her choices? The talented screenwriter Nora Ephron who just passed away in June, Mel Brooks and President Barack Obama.
